PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device capable of preventing the generation of a skew even in the case of two-stage cassette structure. SOLUTION: The recording device includes: a paper feeding cassette 11 capable of housing a plurality of recording materials in a piled state; a pickup roller 16 for feeding a recording material brought into contact with the top placed recording material housed in the paper feeding cassette 11; a roller holder 22 which is supported to a base end side thereof so as to be turnable, and in which the pickup roller 16 provided at the tip is energized toward the recording material; and a lever 27 which is supported to a base end side so as to be turnable, and in which a presser provided at the tip is energized toward the recording material.
