An apparatus for electro-plating on to diversely sized and shaped objects comprises a work rack 12 supported by an arm 10 extending laterally from a support e.g. vertical slide 11 for raising and lowering over a plating tank (not shown), and a pre-settable variator, e.g. pins 21 affixed to a plate 20, mounted on the arm e.g. by collar 19, or rack, Fig.3 (not shown), and co-operating with and controlling an electrical signaller comprising a variable resistance, e.g. aligned micro-switches 22, for selectively varying the electric current to the rack to an optimum value in accordance with the size and shape of the particular object being plated. |
