<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive transmitting mechanism which prevents tilt of a gear and variation of an attaching position of the gear, and excels in assembling workability, and to provide an image forming apparatus equipped therewith. <P>SOLUTION: The drive transmitting mechanism 30 has a parallel pin 23 inserted in a rotary shaft 11a of a driving roller 11 for an intermediate transfer belt 8, a second driving gear 31 and a second stop ring 25. A second through-hole 33 having a third slope 33c and fit to the rotary shaft 11a, and a second groove 35 having a first slope 35a abutting on a peripheral surface of the parallel pin 2 and a second slope 35b abutting on both ends in a longitudinal direction thereof are formed in the second driving gear 31. By fixing the second driving gear 31 by the second stop ring 37, the parallel pin 23 is fit in the second driving gear 31 by the first slope 35a and a side 35c, and the second slope 35b of the second groove 35. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
