<p>The coating material is applied by a roller which is held in a rubber-elastic holder of wear-resistant material, and surrounded by it for more than 180 degrees. The roller has at least one cooling/lubricating groove, and the roller diameter is large than the holder aperture. The wear resistant material pref. consists of a polyurethane elastomer with a shore hardness of 70 degrees, and is surface hardened. The unit is used to coat lengths of paper or cardboard.</p> |
