PURPOSE: A device for preventing mud from flowing into cooling water for a Floating Production Storage Offloading ship is provided to prevent an operation device from being overheated by using a foreign substance prevention unit. CONSTITUTION: A device for preventing mud from flowing into cooling water for an FPSO ship comprises a connector(20), an elbow(30), a distance control pipe(40), and a reducer(50). The connector is attached on the end of a caisson using clamps. The elbow is coupled to the connector and switches the inhaled direction of seawater. The distance control pipe is coupled to one end of the elbow and controls a distance between the distance control pipe and a sea surface. The reducer is coupled to one end of the distance control pipe and inhales seawater.
