PURPOSE: A variable oil pump is provided to enhance performance without the change of an inner structure since two kinds of springs with different constant values are used. CONSTITUTION: A variable oil pump comprises vanes(2) and a variable spring unit(10). An oil discharge pressure is increased in a high-speed zone. Accordingly, the pumping volume per unit rotation of the vane is decreased in comparison to a middle/low speed zone. The variable spring unit has a spring constant, which varies load applied to an outer ring(3) according to the intensity of the oil discharge pressure. The variable spring unit comprises one or more springs, which are arranged in serial.
