Molten metal sampler - of precision moulded glass evacuated and with capillary tube handle

Molten metal sampler esp. for taking irong or steel samples which has a flat spatual shaped end with a weakened section below it and an upper capillary tube handle and which is sealed and evacuated to 1 Torr internal pressure. It is of borosilicate glass with a coeff. of expansion of approx. 33 x 10-7. Spacing between the inner walls of the rectangular spatula end is 4-7 mm. and the shorter dimension of the walls >15 mm (pref. approx. 25 mm) whilst the internal dia. of the capillary is 2-3 mm. Samples for grinding and polishing before spark analysis of the compsn. of the metal are easily taken and prepd.
