The method involves determining radius values assigned in a network from a curve of capillary pressure, and deducting radius values assigned in another network from a another curve. The latter network is defined without a free space by juxtaposition of tubes arranged horizontally, for a vertical section provided in a length direction of the latter network, where a connection between the sections is assured by the tubes. The tubes in the latter network are withdrawn to verify an input porosity value. An independent claim is also included for a computer program comprising a set of instructions for implementing a method for determining flow parameters in a porous medium and properties of the porous medium.
