<p>The device (102) has a male port (103) connected to a host equipment (100) i.e. CPU, via an interface i.e. universal serial bus (USB)type interface, where the device is received by a peripheral equipment (106) as a host equipment. A female type receiving port (104) permits the peripheral equipment to be connected to the device via another interface i.e. universal serial bus (USB)type interface. An operating system simulates the host equipment.</p>
