<p>The present invention relates to the field of mobile storage technology, aiming at the defect that the security of the prior Universal Serial Bus (USB) storage device is not high, a USB memory and an operation method thereof are provided. The USB memory includes a USB interface and a nonvolatile memory in which a file and a file directory are stored, and also includes a volatile memory, an identity identification module and a control module. In the enumeration process, the control module is used for directing the allocated disk identifier to the volatile memory, and reading out the file directory from the nonvolatile memory, storing it in the volatile memory; when a file reading request is detected, the identity identification module collects the user's identity information, and the identity is verified according to it, and after the verification succeeds, the file requested to read is searched in the nonvolatile memory, and a copy of the file is generated in the volatile memory and then is exported. The present invention can greatly improve the security of the USB storage device.</p> |
