Functional drinks having an effect of lowering blood pressure and showing controlled sedimentation upon storage while sustaining the inherent color without suffering from any damage in the inherent flavor. These functional drinks are prepared by adding isoleucyl tyrosine (Ile-Tyr) or a isoleucyl tyrosine-containing substance to tea-based drinks, health drinks and so on. The content of isoleucyl tyrosine preferably ranges from 0.00001 to 5.0 w/v%.
