<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching inverter and converter for power conversion compatible with increased efficiency and need for control of power conversion. <P>SOLUTION: The switching inverter includes two single-end EF<SB>2</SB>inverter sections coupled together with a shared ground and partially shared tunable resonant net that is coupled to at least one load. Each inverter section has a switching section, and the shared tunable network section allows independent tuning of an impedance seen by the corresponding switching section thereby independently tuning even and odd harmonics of the switching frequency. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
