OPTICAL ARTICLE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical article which includes a plastic base material, a primer layer and a hard coat layer and in which interference fringes are hardly produced and to provide a method for producing the optical article.

SOLUTION: A plastic lens 1 includes: the plastic base material 10; the primer layer 11a formed on the upper surface of the plastic base material 10; a binder layer 11b formed on the upper surface of the primer layer 11a; the hard coat layer 12 formed on the upper surface of the binder layer 11b; and an antireflection layer 13 formed on the upper surface of the hard coat layer 12. The refractive index of the binder layer 11b is made lower than that of any of the primer layer 11a and the hard coat layer 12 and the fluctuation bands of a hue angle on the surface of the plastic lens 1 are within 5°.
