ELECTRIC RHEOLOGY PARTICLE AND ELECTRIC RHEOLOGY GEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric rheology particle which is excellent in heat resistance and expresses a stable electric rheology effect, even when used at high temperature for a long time, and to provide an electric rheology gel.

SOLUTION: The electric rheology particle 10 is characterized by being a conjugated particle which comprises a core 11 comprising inorganic fine particles and a surface layer 12 comprising an electric semiconductor inorganic material covering the core 11. The rheology gel is produced by dispersing the electric rheology particles 10 in an electric insulating dispersion medium held in a gel skeleton.
