PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for mounting a plate of a printing machine and the printing machine by which a printing plate can be mounted without generating uneven tension by eliminating the influence of the friction between the printing plate and a plate cylinder when mounting the printing plate while the displacement between the printing plate and the plate cylinder is eliminated by raising the friction between the printing plate and the plate cylinder during printing as a result highly precise positional accuracy and dimensional accuracy can be attained. SOLUTION: The device for mounting the plate of the printing machine in which the printing plate is mounted on the plate cylinder, ink is attached to the printing plate, and printing is carried out by directly or indirectly transferring the attached ink onto an article to be printed has a first clamp means pushing one end of the printing plate, a second clamp means pushing the other end of the same, a holding means fixing the first clamp means and the second clamp means to the printing plate, a printing plate tension applying means holding the second clamp means and pulling the printing plate, and a printing plate angle adjusting means with which the first clamp means and the printing plate tension applying means are equipped.
