The invention relates to a method for mounting elements when installing a wind turbine by hoisting to the nacelle, the hub inclusive the main bearing being mounted to the hub with fastening members such as bolts. The invention also relates to a nacelle for a wind turbine, said nacelle provided with a slot for accommodating a main bearing for the hub. The invention also relates to method for transporting elements of a wind turbine, said elements comprising a nacelle, a hub and a main bearing for the hub, and said method comprising assembling with fastening members,at the site of production or at another preliminary site of transportation, the hub and the main bearing.
