<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operation feeling of a brake pedal in a BBW type brake device. <P>SOLUTION: In a normal state wherein braking is carried out by brake fluid pressure generated by brake fluid pressure generating means 19F, 19R, a clutch means 26 units a brake pedal 11 and a stroke simulator 28. Therefore, the stroke simulator 28 is actuated to add reaction force on the brake pedal 11. On the other hand, in an abnormal state wherein braking is carried out by brake fluid pressure generated by a master cylinder 10, the clutch means 26 releases the uniting between the brake pedal 11 and the stroke simulator 28. Therefore, brake feeling is prevented from becoming excessively heavy because reaction force from the stroke simulator 28 is added to the reaction force from the master cylinder 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
