摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep low the electric power consumed in a whole circuit when operating a piezoelectric element utilizing energy stored in an inductor. <P>SOLUTION: This liquid jetting apparatus includes: (A) a plurality of piezoelectric elements operated by charging or discharging to jet liquid from nozzles; (B) capacitors connected in parallel with the piezoelectric elements and changeable in capacitance; (C) inductors connected to the piezoelectric elements and capacitors connected in parallel; and (D) a control unit allowing a predetermined current to flow to the inductors and changing the capacitance of the capacitors to make constant the sum of the total capacitance of the piezoelectric elements actually operated when jetting liquid and the capacitance of the capacitors, and charging and discharging the piezoelectric elements connected in parallel with the capacitors using the electric current flowing to the inductors to jet liquid from the nozzles. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
