<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems in which crystals are deposited when a high-concentration aqueous solution of a 1,2-benzoisothiazolin-3-one-based compound having excellent antiseptic and antimicrobial properties is stored under a low-temperature condition such as winter night, or when the high-concentration aqueous solution after the low-temperature storage is subdivided and fractionated, to cause trouble of complicated dissolving operation or the like thereafter, and which is a large trouble at a using site. <P>SOLUTION: The antiseptic and antimicrobial agent composition contains the 1,2-benzoisothiazolin-3-one-based compound (BIT) in the high concentration in a mixed solvent of water and a hydroxy group-containing organic solvent (e.g. propylene glycol) and/or a ketone solvent, and further contains both of an organic amine compound and a metal hydroxide as crystallization inhibitors. It is estimated that the deposition and the growth of the crystal of the BIT salt are inhibited by the synergistic effect of the organic amine and the metal hydroxide. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
