[Also in Divisions B3, C7 and H1] Bodies for electrodes for electric storage cells are extruded with at least one through passage from a lead-oxide paste including a small amount of monacrylic fibres and are cured and dried before conductor(s) are formed in the passage(s). Before curing or after the conductors have been formed, the extrudate may be wrapped in an electrolyte-permeable and resistant cover formed of glass, P.V.C. or acrylic fibres. Bodies of circular, oval and cruciform section, each with a central passage, and an elongated rectangular body with several apertures are shown. |
