PURPOSE: A basalt block and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to have a waterproof function and a function for protection against heat and display uniform color by preventing water from being stagnant on the top thereof. CONSTITUTION: A basalt block comprises basalt stone material(100) and a quartz layer(200). The basalt stone material is cut into sizes for purpose of use. Multiple holes are irregularly formed on the top of the basalt stone material. The quartz layer is formed on the top of the basalt stone material. As the upper end of the basalt stone material is heated for a fixed time at a fixed temperature to melt quartz ingredients by a heater, the quartz layer is formed. |
