The system has rails (20) resting against a sloping supporting surface and extending along a direction of a slope (delta). The rails define a supporting surface for supporting solar sensors (51). Inverse U-shaped clamps (30) have maintaining stops for maintaining the sensors along an axis parallel to the supporting surface and perpendicular to the direction of the slope, respectively. The clamps are coupled to the rails so as to maintain a gap between the successive sensors along the direction of the slope.
