<p>PURPOSE: A liquid discharge head and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to recognize the state of the liquid discharge head in manufacturing processes based on historic information. CONSTITUTION: A liquid discharge head comprises a substrate(12) and a flow path wall member(9). The flow path wall member comprises one or more cavities which are not connected to a flow path. The flow path wall member comprises a flow path(14) connected to each outlet(11). A periphery member(101) is placed to surround the flow path wall. The cavity has the shape of a character. The cavity, the character expressed by the cavity, or multiple characters correspond to information about the liquid discharge head. The cavities are formed in the flow path wall member.</p> |
