A luminescent element comprising nitride is provided. The element includes a luminescent film, a metal film with metal micro structure is formed on the surface of the luminescent film having a composition of Ga1-xAlxN:yRe, wherein Re is rare earth metal, 0=x=1, 0<y=0.2. A method of preparing the luminescent element comprising nitride and a method for luminescence using the element are also provided. The luminescent film has a metal film on its surface. The luminescent element has simple structure, good transmissivity, high luminous efficiency and good stability. |
