<p>A method for implementing a Multimedia Messaging Service Email and a Multimedia Messaging Service Email service gateway are provided. The method comprises: receiving a message from a mailbox server; determining whether it is necessary to perform format processing on the message according to the size of the message; performing format processing on the message according to the result of the determination; transmitting the message without necessity of the format processing or the message which is qualified after the format processing to the multimedia message service center. In the present invention, the Email is actively pushed to a mobile phone terminal of a user in real time in a Multimedia Messaging Service manner; the mobile phone terminal generally can not display the message normally because the size of the message from the mailbox server is not limited; the present invention enable all the terminals which can support the Multimedia Messaging Service to support the mobile phone Email by performing processing on the format of the message, and is convenient for the popularization and application of the mobile phone Email.</p> |
