<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a drum type washing machine light-weight while ensuring a required damping force of a suspension which elastically supports a water tub internally arranging the drum of the drum type washing machine, and to enable materials to be saved. <P>SOLUTION: The saturated magnetic flux densities of a cylinder 25, an upper yoke 35, a lower yoke 36 and a rod 23 which are members to constitute a magnetic circuit in the suspension 7 are roughly the same. The inner peripheral area of each through-hole of the upper yoke 35 and the lower yoke 36, and the radial directional cross section of the cylinder 25 are set to be larger than or equal to the radial directional cross section of the rod 23 which is located in both through-holes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
