<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording device capable of preventing a suction mark from being left or reducing it to a visually unnoticeable degree even when suction time continues over a long period of time in vacuum suction and conveyance of a recording medium, and to provide an ink jet recording method. <P>SOLUTION: In the ink jet recording device 1, droplets of ink are shot on the recording medium 22 conveyed by a conveyance means 30 by ink jet heads 72M, 72C, 72Y, 72K, thereby forming an image. The ink jet recording device and the ink jet recording method are characterized in that the conveyance means 30 includes a suction means 24 with a plurality of suction holes for vacuum-sucking the recording medium 22 on the surface of the conveyance means where the back surface side of the recording medium 22 and the conveyance means 30 are contacted, and moreover, a control means conveying the recording medium while changing a place to be sucked by the suction holes of the recording medium 22, and changing the place to be sucked at prescribed intervals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
