METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING POROUS STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a porous structure, whose surface layer hardly flakes off and which has a large specific surface area, in a large amount at low cost. SOLUTION: The method includes: a process for attaching lime to a base material at least part of which is formed with silica; and a process for forming the surface layer by steam-curing the base material to which a lime adheres.
