Closed loop steam forming cooling installation - with steam separators

The coolers are connected by feed and outlet pipe lines with steam separators forming a loop circuit. The separators are pref. of the centrifugal type and have a steam outlet and a make-up water inlet. The centrifugal steam separators or the alternative cyclone type permit scaling down of the installation and use of a smaller water storage tank. The plant is intended for use with blast furnaces, open hearth furnaces etc.
