PURPOSE: A self-induction light emitting valve cap for a water valve is provided to increase the service life of a light emitting unit and to minimize the power consumption of the light emitting unit. CONSTITUTION: A self-induction light emitting valve cap(1) for a water valve comprises a light emitting diode, a battery, and a lead switch. A groove is formed in the head(3) of the valve cap. The light emitting diode is arranged inside the groove. The battery supplies power to the light emitting diode. The lead switch electrically connects the power of the battery to the LED only when a magnet is closely located. The LED, the battery, and the lead switch are mounted in a single printed circuit board and are inserted into the groove.
