PURPOSE: An image display device and an operation method thereof are provided to display thumbnail lists of thumbnail images generated based on an input signal, thereby enabling a user to easily select a channel. CONSTITUTION: An operation method of an image display device comprises the following steps. Thumbnail images are generated based on an input signal. The first thumbnail list including the first number of thumbnail images is displayed among generated thumbnail images. The second thumbnail list including the second number of thumbnail images different from the first number is displayed among the generated thumbnail images. |
