A method for mounting auxiliary member (130) on window or door frame (10) already installed and on which there is fixed a drive assembly (22) comprising at least one actuating member (24, 25, 26, 27, 28) and at least one transmission rod (30, 32) mounted in at least one slot (18, 20) of frame (10). The method comprises steps of connecting auxiliary member (130) and the said transmission rod (30, 32) to be slidable in longitudinal direction and to be fixed in direction orthogonal to the sliding, and forming a through hole (118) in transmission rod by a screw (106) held to auxiliary member (130) and the fixing of auxiliary member to the said rod (30, 32) by engagement between the tip of the said screw (106) and said through hole (118). |
