PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus or the like that clearly shows the risks paused by canceling mirroring migration. SOLUTION: The information processing apparatus includes: a copying unit that migrates data to be stored in one nonvolatile storage device to another nonvolatile storage device; a nonvolatile storage device migration time estimation unit that, if migration is canceled, estimates the time required for canceling based on the amount of data already migrated by the copying unit and the time required for migration; and a notification unit that reports the time required for canceling estimated by the nonvolatile storage device migration time estimation unit.
