The transmission has a shaft (5) connected with a ring gear of a first planetary gear set (P1) and with a rod of a second planetary gear set (P2). A sun gear of the second planetary set is coupled with a housing of the transmission. A ring gear of a third planetary set (P3) is coupled to the housing of the transmission, and an output shaft (2) is connected with a ring gear of a fourth planetary gear set (P4) and with a rod of the third planetary gear set. The first planetary gear set is blocked by closing a coupling (13). The four planetary gear sets are designed as minus-planetary gear sets.
