<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce adverse effect by operation of a needless residual image relaxation function. <P>SOLUTION: A display device is an active matrix form, includes a light emitting element of a current drive type for each pixel arranged in the matrix state, and performs display by controlling a current of this light emitting element by a drive TFT.
