PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easily cleanable horizontal mixer. SOLUTION: This horizontal mixer includes a mixer bowl 18 having an upper part opening port 12 and a roof 22 set as closing the upper part opening port. The mixer bowl is provided by having a bottom wall and circumferential wall extending from the circumferential edge of the bottom wall toward the upper opening port 12 and equipping a scraper member 32 at the upper end edge part of the circumferential wall. The mixer bowl is supported by a supporting shaft as capable of rotating and enabled as being displaced to a working position for the mixing or non-working position for the mixing.
