PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily manufacture a flooring material which can house electric equipment by a simple constitution, which has unevenness following properties for absorbing unevenness of a laying surface, and which has excellent waterproof and moisture-proof properties. SOLUTION: The flooring material 1, inside which the electric equipment E can be housed, includes upper and lower layers 2 and 3; the upper layer 2 is made of a synthetic resin; and the lower layer 3 is made of a thermoplastic synthetic resin. A storage portion 4 for housing the electric equipment is formed by making the lower layer 3 joined to the upper layer 2 in the state of sandwiching the electric equipment; and a covering portion 3d for covering a lateral portion of the electric equipment is formed of the lower layer 3.
