PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric safety system for an elevator for quickly and safely relieving a load to a safety component. SOLUTION: This electric safety system for the elevator is provided with a control device (1) connected to a motor (21) for driving an elevator car (2). This safety system has a safety control device (10) and a bus (3) communicable with a bus node for receiving data from at least one sensor (4, 5, 5', 6, 7 and 9) by the control device (1). The control device (1) can communicate with a safety circuit (11) capable of being put in an opening state by the safety control device (10) by stopping the motor (21), and the safety circuit (11) has a means for informing the control device (1) of stopping of the motor (21), or can detect the stopping of the motor (21) by the control device (1) based on data transmitted to the control device (1) from the bus node.
