<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger without a header plate capable of completely closing gaps between respective flat tubes. <P>SOLUTION: Projections 8 are provided on the inner face of a header part 7, adjacent to longitudinal direction both edges of sidewalls 1 of the flat tubes 4.
