PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a restoration control apparatus for maintaining data in a restoration destination storage device. SOLUTION: The restoration control apparatus 100 for processing to restore a data storage status in a storage device to a backed up status based on backed up data includes: a determiner 104 for determining whether or not the other data are stored in the storage area in a storage device 220 corresponding to the restoration position of the backed up data during the restoration processing; and a controller 106 for, when the determiner has determined that the other data are not stored in the storage area, storing the backed up data in the storage area, and for, when the determiner has determined that the other data are stored in the storage area, storing one of the backed up data and the other data in the storage area, and putting the other of the backed up data and the other data into a status of being stored in the other storage area in an unused status in the storage device.
