PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that, when sizes of a plurality of memories respectively used by a plurality of image processing engines are different from one another, the image processing engine have not necessarily efficiently used respective memories, respectively, in a prior art. SOLUTION: This electronic camera includes: an imaging part imaging a still image or an moving image to output image data; a first storage part temporarily storing the image data; a second storage part having a capacity different from that of the first storage part temporarily storing the image data; a distribution control part distributing the image data outputted by the imaging part to the first storage part and the second storage part in accordance with a storage capacity ratio; a first image processing part processing the image data stored in the first storage part; a second image processing part processing the image data stored in the second storage part; and an image recording part storing the image data processed by the first image processing part and the second image processing part in a storage medium.
