摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production process of optical resin composition capable of easily altering optical characteristics of a resin base material. SOLUTION: A substantially transparent optical resin composition modified in optical property is obtained by the following sequential steps in the production process of an optical resin composition containing an inorganic compound: a drying step for dissolving one or more of a polymerizable monomer, a polymerizable oligomer and a resin material to a solution containing an optical property modifying additive and removing a solvent, a step for preparing a particulate master batch by grinding the dried object and a step for thermo-fusion mixing the particulate master batch with a thermoplastic optical resin; wherein the optical property modifying additive is a particle of 10 nm or less in particle size and possessed of a structure expressed by R-Si-O-M (where R is a linear, cyclic or alicyclic alkyl group, phenyl group, alkyl group containing a phenyl group or alkyl group containing a reactive functional group such as a vinyl group, an epoxy group, etc. and M is a metal element).
