<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source module for a pointing system, which exactly indicates a point by restricting the deviation of the point due to the erroneous recognition of a virtual image, and to provide a controller and a pointing system using the module and controller. <P>SOLUTION: The light source module for a pointing system includes a light emitting element, and a polarization filter which is a wire grid film. The controller includes: an imaging device for imaging emission light from the light source module; a lens for focusing the emission light on the imaging device; a polarization filter; an image processing circuit for processing image data obtained from the imaging device; a sensor for detecting the inclination and rotation of the controller; a CPU for receiving data to be output from the image processing circuit and data from the sensor; and a communication module for receiving data to be output from the CPU as a series of controller data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
