MHU OPTIC SIGNAL SWITCHING DEVICE

PURPOSE: An MHU(Main Hub Unit) optic signal switching device is provided to automatically perform a signal switch and restoration without a direct switching or a restoration of an optical module. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of switching units(100) is installed between the communications path of optical modules(24~26) and the branch(30~50). While an optical module normally acts, a plurality of interface units forms the communications line between the optical module and their lower branch. If one of the optical modules is disordered, the switching units form a communications line between the other optical module and their lower branch. A control unit controls the switching operation of the switch within the interface unit.
