The present invention relates to an apparatus for positioning an object in radiotherapy. The object may be a tumour contained in a body. The apparatus comprises moving means (13a-13f) for moving the body according to several degrees of freedom with respect to a base (14) of the apparatus, said base being able to rotate with respect to an axis, named isocenter axis (10), which is intended to pass through an isocenter defined in the object.
