PURPOSE:To provide a module provided with waterproofness by mounting a windshield glass via waterproof packing to a plastic base containing respective elements constituting the watch and employing a magnet switch construction. CONSTITUTION:Module structural parts such as a battery 2, circuit substrate 3, display cell 4 and display cell support frame 5 are contained on the front side of a plastic base 1 serving also as a back cover and are elastically held by a windshield glass 7 via a waterproof packing 6. A switch for display correction, etc. is made in a magnet switch construction wherein a lead switch 8 is provided within the plastic base 1 and a magnet member 10 is mounted to an operating member 9, whereby the through-holes in the side and inside of the base 1 are eliminated. Hence, dust and moisture are prevented and quality improved because the tightness in the module is maintained and in addition the saving of the number of assembling steps is made possible. |
