PURPOSE: A fermented placental composition is provided to enhance high amino acid content and to be used as an ingredient for cosmetic products and food. CONSTITUTION: A method for making a fermented placental composition comprises: a step of crushing mammal placenta; a step of adding 3-30 weight parts of carbon source and energy source of microorganism and mixing; and a step of inoculating lactobacillus, yeast, or bacillus into the mixture and fermenting. The carbon source and energy source of microorganism is oligosaccharide, lactose, glucose, fructose, sugar, or mixture thereof. The lactobacillus is Lactobacillus sp., Streptococcus sp., Pediococcus sp., Leuconostoc sp., or Bifidobacterium sp. The yeast is Saccharomyces sp. A composition for treating atopic dermatitis contains the fermented placental composition as an active ingredient. |
