PURPOSE: A user contents service method and a system using the virtual channel mapping, and a set top box therefor are provided to enable users to use contents conveniently through a television. CONSTITUTION: Contents output devices(91,92,93) perform the function of outputting the user providing contents to the outside. A user selects the IP(Internet Protocol) address or the port number of the contents output device and user contents channel. The user establishes the selected user contents channel at the contents output device. The user uses the user providing contents of the specific contents output device in the set top box(30). |
