PURPOSE: An inverter circuit for a backlight is provided to remove a humming noise by removing the overshoot of a main capacitor. CONSTITUTION: An inverter(100) comprises an inverter drive(110), a transformer(130), a main capacitor(C1), and an overshoot removing unit(170). An inverter control unit controls the luminance of a back light. A main capacitor(C1) determines the output slope of a PWM control signal. The overshoot removing unit(170) controls the slope of a current to remove the overshoot. |
