PURPOSE: A stand-alone scanner is provided to apply an automatic scan image alignment output technique to a scanner, thereby increasing efficiency in a scan work. CONSTITUTION: A controller(10) controls a carriage(13) by an operation condition setup value and function selection of a scanner by a function/setup key input unit(11). The controller controls a backlight(15) mounted on the carriage. The carriage comprises an image sensor(16) for reading a manuscript. A display unit performs a scan image viewer function of a manuscript between the controller and a buffer memory. |
